From Hair to Loom to Heirloom

Pacafiesta and The Atlantics International Fibre Fiesta will be held at Exhibition Park in Halifax on September 26th, 27th & 28th 2008.

We welcome the involvement of all fibre fanatics’, please contact us if you would like to contribute with fibre demonstrations, or in any other way.

The event is open to the general public on the 27th & 28th September between 10 am and 4 pm.

Booth prices are as follows:
10 x 10 booth 285.00
10 x 20 booth 325.00

There are 16 animal pens offered free to be placed within the booths of vendors bringing animals. Further pens will be charged for so book early to avoid disappointment.

Electricity to booths is a further $65.00 plus HST.

All product sold at the event or entered in yarn and garment competitions must be at least 60% North American and natural fibre.

The 26th of September is open to those wishing to attend scheduled seminars, vendors setting up, Alpaca Canada members and the arrival and set up of animal pens and farm showcases. Note: you do not have to be a vendor or animal breeder to attend the seminars. If you are someone who is interested in the fibre industry you may register to attend all seminars and workshops including the Alpaca Canada A.G.M and conference talks.

There will be a cocktail hour sponsored by Alpaca Canada on Friday evening.
Saturday evening after another cocktail hour all vendors and participants will be driven ten minutes to downtown Halifax to dine.
